Here's another awesome Version City Jamaica label release! This time it's legendary Roots singer Prince Alla laying down a passionate vocal over the Fortitude Riddim. This is our 8th tune on the Fortitude Riddim, and it's as wicked as any of the others. Prince Alla has had many hits on classic roots riddims, including many on the Freedom Sounds label in Kingston, Jamaica. He's been around since the rocksteady days when he was knows as Keith Blake, but his voice is as strong now as ever. On this brand new tune, Prince Alla sings lyrics calling for peace and unity in these times of war and violence all over the world. His voice is strong and gospel-tinged, oozing with feeling, but smooth and re-assuring. The b-side is the same vocal over a Nyabinghi drum version of the riddim. It's definitely a dance-corker! This is sure to be as big a hit as the previous versions of the Fortitude Riddim.
