In Trouble is first studio recording from Washington, DC ska, rocksteady, and early reggae band The Fuss. With a modern slant but drawing on the sensibilities of 1960’s Jamaican and British mod music, their sound is comprised of 3-part female harmonies, a 3-piece horn section, and 4-piece rhythm section. In Trouble covers a variety of styles, from the shuffle beat of Struggle to the traditional ska instrumental Humming Ska, and the rocksteady sounds of Turn to Leave and Make it Right. Trouble to Trouble is a fast-paced favorite that inspired the EP’s title.
